We recently had the opportunity to travel to Guntersville Alabama to attend the Reeling in Future Pro's Fish Camp. For those of you who don't know who our client Chris Lane is, he is the winner of the 2012 BASSmaster Classic. Chris and his family invited Melissa and myself to come and help organize and photograph the event. Every year, Chris puts on his annual Fish Camp for kids. It's a full day of fishing with pro anglers along with contests, hands on stations, and tons of goodies. This year, lunch was provided by the world renowned Creole chef Tony … [Read more...]

Happy St. Patrick’s Day
At this point, we should all be familiar with St.Patrick's Day as a green wearing, corned beef eating, and beer/whiskey drinking holiday. St.Patrick's Day is actually a very religious holiday very rich in culture. It is traditionally celebrated on March 17th and commemorates St. Patrick, one of the most recognised saints of Ireland. Today, he is one of the most recognised saints in the world. He was born in Britain. Early on in his life, he was captured and sold into slavery to become a sheep farmer. A few years later, he escaped and spend his early … [Read more...]
Happy Leap Year
We thought we'd write a post today on Leap Year seeing how we won't have another chance for 4 more years. Leap Year actually has a few traditions that we'd never heard of and thought might be fun to share. If you are not familiar with why Leap Year happens, let me explain. The Earth doesn't take exactly 365 days to orbit the sun. It's actually closer to 365.242 days. This amounts to almost six extra hours a year, which over time does add up. A Leap Year helps to prevent the shift that would happen to our calendars because of these extra hours. Without … [Read more...]

Throughout my life, I've accumulated a good size bucket list. Skydiving, swimming with dolphins, being a Price is Right contestant, and illustrating a children's book have all been at the top of my list. Since childhood, I've always been the type of person interested in drawing and anything art related, so illustrating a book seemed fitting. For years the opportunity never seemed to present itself for one reason or another, until this year. As a designer for Brand Eleven Eleven, I have the pleasure of working with all sorts of great people. One of my … [Read more...]

Keeping Your Brand Current
Like many others, the first thing that I do upon looking for a specific type of business, is head straight to Google. Odds are, if the company’s site has not been updated since the 1994, does not link to social media, or there is a lack of website all together, I will immediately keep searching for something else. To me, that really says a lot about the business and those who run it. I will always go with the company who has the better looking and user friendly website no matter what. You simply cannot succeed or advance if you are out of the loop. … [Read more...]
