We have had the ability lately to collaborate on quite a few projects. Two in particular where especially fun and were a reminder to us that expanding our resources when necessary to meet a clients needs can create an amazing outcome.
The first project we worked on was with Booth Studio. They were commissioned a very large job by the Visitor’s Bureau and Joe King of King Architects to photograph, scan and retouch old drawings and images and design the Jack West Exhibition. Jack West is from the Sarasota School of Architecture and his buildings can be seen all over Sarasota. The job entailed creating 25 2 ft x 6 ft panels. About a quarter of the way through the project we were brought in to help with the retouching, positioning and changes that needed to be made to make this as accurate as possible.
While this wonderful project wasn’t ours, it was great being able to participate. We attended the show opening and it was amazing to see all of our hard work had created an exhibit that the community and Jack West’s family can be proud of. If you haven’t seen the exhibit I recommend you do so. It is located at the Sarasota County Visitor Information Center and History Museum.
