Today has finally come where I finish my internship. I have completed the required 150 hours and this will be the last day working at brand 1111 for now. I have learned a lot and experienced even more here. I’m getting ready to finish my last semester of school and in January I will be looking for a full time position at entry level in the field of graphic design.
I have gained a lot here at brand 1111 from logo design, brochure, and web design. Everything has to please the client even if you don’t like what they want. The schedule and deadline of how things go all depend mostly on if the client gives you what you need on time and if the give you enough material to work with.
I could go on and on with things you learn in the working world compare to what you learn in school. In school you learn how to design, how things work with procedures for print, and how to work the programs.
I appreciate all that have followed through my internship experience and I give a big thanks to Melissa Link and Brittney Reilly for helping me with everything. They have taught me more then I thought I would learn in the last 3 months. Also thanks for the cupcake!
Johnathan Weller is a graphic design student at State College of Florida in Manatee County. He will be completing his degree in December 2011. He is looking forward to getting more into the web programming aspects of the industry. We truly enjoyed having Johnathan as an intern and look forward to seeing how he continues to evolve.
