The team at Brand Eleven Eleven, along with author Ron Knight and father of Lillian Bay, Brad Beatty, decided to have a fundraiser to kick off the Saving Lillian Bay book series. After a few weeks preparing for the campaign, it was labeled, Miracles Happen.
Brand Eleven Eleven managed the campaign, while Ron Knight and Brad Beatty worked on promotion. The campaign offered printed Saving Lillian Bay books for both adults and children, eBooks, t-shirts, Tervis Tumbler cups, and personalized paintings by Lillian Bay. In just two weeks, $2,198 had been raised. ]
But then, the campaign hit a wall and threatened to fizzle out. That’s when BEE, Ron Knight, and Brad Beatty worked even harder to bring attention and promote Miracles Happen, giving the campaign a second and third jolt of fundraisers. BEE worked on the Facebook page, along with the book covers. Ron Knight reached out to his thousands of fans and worked directly with UPS Media. Brad Beatty was like a politician on a campaign trail, talking to anyone who would listen about his daughter’s story.
In one month, $5,100 had been raised!
Brand Eleven Eleven finished the website, which has already pre-sold Lillian Bay books. Author Ron Knight has interviews and events lined up, and Brad Beatty continues to use every networking contact, bringing interest to the Miracles Happen Campaign as it pushes on to the next stage.
The real winner for the Indiegogo fundraising has been Lillian Bay. She has inspired miracles in us all…
