Blogging started in 1997 and really boomed in 1999. It became a terrific way for businesses to share information with customers and their target audience. However, businesses have shifted away from the core value of how a blog is supposed to help the business grow. Remember that a blog is a tool to share your information and show your expertise. It is not a personal diary of your day, or a place to share your favorite YouTube videos, or a place to rant about politics. Decide if you are going to use your content as a personal outlet, or to increase … [Read more...]
The journey continues . . .
Greetings! It's been about a month since I have had the wonderful privilege of interning at Brand1111 and it is going great. I have had a lot of fun working on several projects and honing my overall design skills and time efficiency skills. I love to design, so my work hardly ever feels like "work" if you catch my drift. And my office comrades certainly add an element of fun and laughter to the office environment. As I continue to expand of everything that is design related, I know that one of my top goals is to become a "photoshop guru" as some … [Read more...]

In the beginning…
Hi, everyone! My name is Jackie and I am the newest intern at Brand Eleven Eleven. I began my internship just before the holidays and so far it has been a great experience. One of the most important things that I am refining right now are my time management skills. While at school, you are able to spend countless of hours devoted to one project. However, in "real life", the same principle cannot be applied. There are many projects happening at a time that have short deadlines that must be met. Because of that, being efficient (and fast) while … [Read more...]

11 Tips for Building Your Business
Let’s get right to it. Here are eleven tips that every business should use to build towards success: Be Visible There was a time when business owners attended conferences, did lectures, and put up a table at state fairs to be noticed. Letter, Illustrator and Crazy Cat Lady!
Jessicas style and uniqueness is appealing to me, I find her work interesting and fun to look at. She does a lot of fancy decorative fonts and designs, some of which are a little abstract. Which is a style I really enjoy. Her work is personalized which I love as well, when going though her portfolio you can read a little blurb on what the font or project was for. One of my favorites is "I love love." Someone emailed and ask Jessica to help propose to his girlfriend. She was intrigued and being that she was just finishing up her own wedding … [Read more...]
