Part 1: Evaluate Your Mission, Vision and Goals
First of all if you don't have a mission, vision or any business goals set, now is the time to do that. It is very hard to start achieving your goals without writing them down and laying the foundation for you to achieve those goals. We believe in goals both personally and as a business. Keeping Your Brand Current
Like many others, the first thing that I do upon looking for a specific type of business, is head straight to Google. Odds are, if the company’s site has not been updated since the 1994, does not link to social media, or there is a lack of website all together, I will immediately keep searching for something else. To me, that really says a lot about the business and those who run it. I will always go with the company who has the better looking and user friendly website no matter what. You simply cannot succeed or advance if you are out of the loop. … [Read more...]

A professional … [Read more...]
Clients that Make Sense
We recently went through the experience of having to accept that some clients just aren't a good fit with our company. In this economy, this was a very hard realization to make. As a company we stuck by our principles as a business and made the right choice. When developing our new brand we thought long and hard about the type of clients we would like to work side-by-side with and we made a list of the 11 qualities our clients should possess. If you haven't seen the list please stop and read it. So . . . we were approached with a potential web … [Read more...]
What We Look for in Our Clients
When creating Brand Eleven Eleven we spent many hours deciding what type of company we were going to be and what type of principles we were going to have. Out of those meetings, we ended up with sidenotes randomly placed on our whiteboards. These notes were reminders to us about what type of clients we wanted to have and how we wanted to work with them. We turned those notes into a list and have posted it for all to see. If you missed it under our About Us menu, here they are in no particular order! Partner: Looking to work with an agency instead of … [Read more...]
Redefining Your Brand
Sometimes you look around at your brand and have to redefine what it is your brand says about your company. And in some cases, you have to start with a blank canvas. That is exactly what we have done at Brand Eleven Eleven, previously Savvy Cats Branding. I originally started Savvy Cats Design with Emily Scott. As time progressed and our design business grew, I was drawn more and more to the branding and internet marketing side of the business. Emily Scott still operates Savvy Cats Design and works with us on various projects but it was time for me to … [Read more...]
